“The Legacie Foundation is an integral part of our business and values”
Supporting the people and communities of Liverpool and beyond is not simply our social responsibility as a business, it is what I believe in.
From an early age, I noticed that my dad was someone that people would go to for help and advice. Our small family-run scaffolding business was in a deprived community where opportunity and guidance were scarce. My dad gave a chance to those who needed it, in business and in life, and he instilled in me the same sense of responsibility and community.
As Legacie help to build new communities in Liverpool, we do not lose sight of what we already have. In the last year, we have donated over £200,000 and have committed a further £250,000 for the coming year. We seek to embrace the people of our cities and give a hand up. Our active recruitment of ex-offenders for example, is a mutually beneficial endeavour that offers people a fresh start, helps to close the skills gap, and reinforces a strong and loyal workforce.
Through the Legacie Foundation we try to leave this world a little better than we found it.
