Double Award Wins for Property Business Awards

Legacie was named Developer of the Year and Parliament Square, its £90millon flagship residential scheme on the edge of the city’s Baltic Triangle, was crowned Development of the Year.

Parliament Square, which has seen the first phase largely completed, is a 505-unit apartment scheme complete with Grade A office space, rooftop spa, residents gym, lounge and public plaza.

Legacie Developments is delivering 2,000 new homes across the UK, with major projects in Liverpool, Manchester and Luton underway. Indeed the company has recently announced exciting plans for Liverpool’s historic Heap’s Mill, which will see a mixed-use development comprising hotel, underground spa and luxury apartments, while it has secured a deal with institutional lender ICG-Longbow who is providing a £40million injection for its Embankment Exchange development in Salford.

The developer was recognised with the prestigious gongs as judges acknowledged the significant contribution Legacie is making to the real estate sector in terms of the quality of its developments as well as the economic impact it is having in creating hundreds of local construction jobs and training opportunities for young people.

Speaking about the double award scoop, Legacie Developments Founder and CEO, John Morley, said:

“We are proud to have won two major awards for our work. They are an incredible recognition of the efforts put in by our fantastic team. We are on-site delivering quality new homes with world-class facilities to sit alongside them in some of Britain’s greatest cities.

“I know people want the very best in terms of residential living, and that’s what we will keep aiming to achieve at Legacie.”
