Legacie has announced the successful completion of Central Park, delivering 174 new homes in the heart of Baltic Triangle.

Acting as both main contractor and property operator, Legacie transformed a long-unused brownfield site into a vibrant residential development for Nexus Residential. The scheme features a range of resident amenities including rooftop terraces, landscaped gardens, an outdoor gym, and direct access to the neighbouring One Baltic Square.

All 174 homes have been sold through RWinvest, with residents expected to begin moving in over the coming weeks. The project has also contributed almost £700,000 in Section 106 funding to support local infrastructure and community improvements.

Regeneration in the Baltic Triangle

Central Park forms part of Legacie’s wider development programme within the Baltic Triangle. With this latest completion, the company has delivered more than 1,000 homes in the district, with a further 500 currently under construction at Heap’s Mill.

Working alongside partners, Legacie has helped transform underused industrial and brownfield land into new residential neighbourhoods. Developments including Parliament Square, One Baltic Square, Millers Place, and One Park Lane are contributing to the creation of a vibrant urban village with new homes, shared amenities, and active ground-floor spaces supporting local businesses.

A Collaborative Achievement

Central Park further strengthens Nexus Residential’s long-term investment in the Baltic Triangle. Between Central Park and One Baltic Square, the developer has contributed almost £700,000 in Section 106 funding to Liverpool City Council, with the two schemes delivering a combined total of 470 homes in the area.

Michael Gledhill, CEO of Nexus Residential, said:
“Achieving practical completion at Central Park is a proud moment for everyone involved with the project. For many years, this site represented untapped potential, and we have remained committed to investing in the local community and unlocking that opportunity together. Today, that same brownfield site has been transformed into a thriving new neighbourhood, delivering high-quality, well-connected homes in a place that people can be proud of.”

John Morley, CEO of Legacie, added:
“Central Park is another successful scheme delivered by the Legacie team on behalf of Nexus Residential, reflecting a continued and trusted relationship between us both. Bringing a complex brownfield site to practical completion has required close collaboration throughout. We’re pleased to have delivered a high-quality development that meets our shared ambitions and demonstrates the value of long-term partnerships in delivering regeneration.”

Legacie will continue to oversee the development as property operator as residents begin moving into their new homes.
