John Morley, owner and Managing Director of Legacie Developments was noted for his hard work, charitable support and apprenticeship scheme at the recent Downtown in Business awards.
With achievements including the sensitive restoration of Water Street’s Reliance House and Dale Street shops, the construction of Renshaw Street’s £11million Ropemaker Place, and the forthcoming £90million Parliament Square development on the edge of the Baltic Triangle, Legacie is one of the most prolific developers in the North West. Last year, Legacie launched his first-ever apprenticeship programme which has seen it recruit 10 young people from Merseyside who were not in education, employment or training. John Morley, Leacie Developments, said: “I am passionate about developing Liverpool. We’re a city on the up and you can see why so many people want to work and live here. It is great to be a part of that with the work that we do.
Legacie Developments is a construction and development company that has a proven track record of delivery. This award comes as we announced a new residential project in Liverpool. Element will be the city’s first major residential eco-development. I’m excited to start work on that next year and for what the future holds for the company.”
