The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall had a jam-packed schedule during their visit to Liverpool on Tuesday.
Prince Charles and Camilla visited a variety of projects around the city including a trip to the Royal Albert Dock and the University of Liverpool to meet his co-patron, President Higgins of Ireland.
His Royal Highness also spent time at St George’s Hall, where he met the daughter of Nelson Mandela, Dr Makaziwe Mandela.
During this time Camilla attended a children’s literacy event at Liverpool Central Library.
Later in the day, Prince Charles also attended the Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool to meet with patients.
The royal even jokingly apologised that they were made to get out of bed for his visit.
Their visit comes just weeks after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Birkenhead, where they visited local community projects and organisations.
